More Disney Stuff

Okay, I finally got some more pictures of us from Disney World. Yes, they are a bit late, but better now that never!!

Adult Beach Trip

Jared and I finally got to get away by ourselves for some relaxing and fun. We just so happened to be there on my birthday. I did feel bad for leaving Leah at home, but that feeling left as soon my feet hit that white sand. It was so nice to go on the beach with just a towel and a book. Okay, I must admit... Jared had to bring goggles, bucket, net, shovel, frisbee, ice chest, and snacks. Thank goodness he did cause I got thirsty. He also brought me a pair of goggles, and we began our quest for any type of seashell we could find. I felt like we were doing this for a living. Jared and I were so intense on finding a perfect sandollar. Well, we found six of them. That was a very tiring challenge for us. Those waves will kick yo butt!! When we got up to the room, Jared had a birthday cake sitting on the table all ready for me see. It was so pretty as you can see in the picture. I was so impressed that he thought ahead of time and ordered me a cake. He so got brownie points for that one!! After I blew out my candles, we ventured out to the outlet mall. Jared bought a pair of running shoes at the Nike place. I only got four pairs of the cutest shoes ever!! Happy Birthday to me!! The next day, we went on jet skies to go on a dolphin excursion. We had so much fun seeing those wonderful mammals and riding on those fast machines. Our butts came off the seat the entire time we were on it. We fell off one time, and I was laughing so hard that I could not pull myself back up on the jetski. Jared had to help pull me up. We had a blast!!

Leah's 5th Birthday

My baby is growing up way too fast!! On June 14th, Leah has turned the ripe ole age of five. All of the things that she did when she was four are now baby things to her. Everytime she feels the need to do something new she quotes: "I'm five now so its okay". Oh that child!! We had Leah's party at our house this year. What was I thinking?? There were 15 children, hot dogs, 17 ft. waterslide, and ants. The ants had so much fun biting those fat tiny feet. Needless to say, everyone had such a great and sweaty time!! Leah got her first collector babydoll. She looked at it, held it and said she is too heavy. I think she has played with it once. Oh well, at least it looks so cute sitting in Leah's rocking chair in her room. After everyone left the party, some of the adults took to the slide. The next day everything on my body hurt.
